Best Albums of 2017

Here below are my favourite albums of 2017. They are numbered, but there is no specific order. Here is my Top 50 of the best albums of 2017.

1. 21 Savage - Issa Album

2017 was a big year for 21 Savage. This is his debut album which was released on July 7. The album was supported by the lead single "Bank Account".

3. Aminé - Good For You

This album is his debut album and was supported by five singles. One of them is his hit "Caroline". The album was released on July 28.

5. Big Sean - I Decided

This album is his fourth album which was released on February 3. It was supported by three singles: "Moves", "Bounce Back" and "Jump Out The Window".

7. Bryson Tiller - True To Self

This album is his second album which released on May 26. It was supported by two singles: "Somethin Tells Me" and "Run Me Dry".

9. DJ Khaled - Grateful

This album is his tenth album which was released on June 23. It features guest appearances from a lot of big artists like Beyoncé, Jay Z, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Drake etc.

11. Dvsn - Morning After

This album is their second album which released on October 13. It was supported by several singles with "Mood" as the lead single.

13. Fergie - Double Dutchess

Fergie was also back this year. This album is her second album and was released on September 22 and 11 years after her debut album.

15. French Montana - Jungle Rules

This album is his second album which was released on July 14. It was supported by the single "No Pressure" featuring Future and his hit single "Unforgettable" featuring Swae Lee.

17. Future - Hndrxx

This is the second album Future released this year. It was released on February 24 and was supported by four singles: "Selfish" featuring Rihanna, "Pie" featuring Chris Brown, "Incredible" and "You Da Baddest" Nicki Minaj.

19. Grace VanderWaal - Just The Beginning

This is her debut album which released on November 3. She also went on her first tour to promote this album. It was supported by two singles: "Moonlight" and "Sick Of Being Told".

21. Haim - Something To Tell You

This is their second album which released on July 7. It was supported by four singles with one of them the lead single "Want You Back".

23. Jaden Smith - SYRE

This albums is his debut album which released on November 17. It was supported by five singles: "Fallen", "Batman", "Watch Me", "Falcon" and "Icon".

25. Joey Bada$$ - All-Amerikkkan Bada$$

This is his second album which released on April 7. It was supported by three singles: "Devastated", "Land Of The Free" and "Temptation.

27. Kehlani - SweetSexySavage

This album is her debut album which released on January 27. She was the lead writer on all tracks aside from "Intro". The album was promoted with two singles: "CRZY" and "Distraction". She went on tour to promote the album.

29. Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

This is his fourth album which released on April 14. This album is one of the best albums of 2017. It's the Billboard Year-End number one album of 2017. The album was supported by three singles: "Humble", "Loyalty" featuring Rihanna and "Love".

31. Khalid - American Teen

This is his debut album which released on March 3. It was supported by his two big hit singles "Location" and "Young, Dumb & Broke".

33. Lil Uzi Vert - Luv Is Rage 2

This is his debut album which released on August 25. It serves as a sequel to his commercial breakthrough mixtape 'Luv Is Rage from 2015. The album was supported by two singles: "XO Tour Llif3" and "The Way Life Goes".

35. Machine Gun Kelly - Bloom

This is his third album which released on May 12. It was preceded by his hit single "Bad Things" featuring Camila Cabello. It was also supported by his other hit single "At My Best" featuring Hailee Steinfeld.

37. Maroon 5 - Red Pill Blues

This is their sixth album which released on November 3. It's their first release to feature Sam Farrar as an official member. The title of the album refers to the scene in the film The Matrix where the lead character has to choose between the red pill or the blue pill. It was supported by the lead single "What Lovers Do" featuring SZA.

39. Miguel - War & Leisure

This is his fourth album which released on December 1. It was preceded by the release of the first single "Sky Walker" featuring Travis Scott. Later "Told You So" was released is the second single.

41. NAV and Metro Boomin - Perfect Timing

This is a collaborative mixtape by NAV and Metro Boomin which released on July 21. It contains production from Metro Boomin, NAV and Southside and features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Offset, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti and Belly. It was supported by two singles: "Perfect Timing (Intro)" and "Call Me".

43. P!nk - Beautiful Trauma

This is her seventh album which released on October 13. It was preceded by the release of her hit single "What About Us". And it was also supported by the title track "Beautiful Trauma".

45. SZA - CTRL

This is her debut album which released on June 9. It was supported by three singles: "Drew Barrymore", "Love Galore" featuring Travis Scott and "The Weekend".

47. The Chainsmokers - Memories: Do Not Open

This is their debut album which released on April 7. Its release was preceded by the singles "Paris" and "Something Just Like This" featuring Coldplay.

49. Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy

This is his fourth album which released on July 21. It was supported by four singles with two of them "Who Dat Boy" featuring ASAP Rocky and "911/Mr. Lonely".

2. 21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning

21 Savage, Offset (from Migos) and producer Metro Boomin worked together for this album, which was released on October 31.

4. Belly - Mumble Rap

Mumble Rap is his eleventh mixtape which was released on October 6. The mixtape features a solo guest appearance from Pusha T and is produced Boi-1da.

6. Big Sean and Metro Boomin - Double Or Nothing

Metro Boomin also collaborated with Big Sean for an album. This album was released on December 8 and was supported by the single "Pull Up N Wreck" featuring 21 Savage.

8. Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me

This album is her sixth album which released on September 29. It was supported by two singles: her hit "Sorry Not Sorry" and the title track "Tell Me You Love Me".

10. Drake - More Life

This is one of his mixtapes, but Drake himself describes it as a playlist. It was released on March 18 and was by several singles like "Fake Love" and "Passionfruit".

 

12. Eminem - Revival

This alum is his ninth album which released on December 15. It has been four years since he released a new album. This album was supported by the lead single "Walk On Water" featuring Beyoncé.

14. Fifth Harmony - Fifth Harmony

This self-titled album is their third album and first album without Camila Cabello. It was supported by two singles: "Down" featuring Gucci Mane and "He Like That".

16. Future - Future

Future released two big albums this year and this self-titled album is one of them. It was released on February 17 and was supported by three singles: "Draco", "Extra Luv" and his hit single "Mask Off".

18. G-Eazy - The Beautiful & Damned

This is his fourth album which was released on December 15. It was supported by three singles: "No Limit", "Sober" featuring Charlie Puth and "Him & I" featuring Halsey.

20. Gucci Mane - Mr. Davis

This is his eleventh album which released on October 13. It was supported by three singles: "Make Love" featuring Nicki Minaj, "Tone It Down" featuring Chris Brown and "I Get The Bag" featuring Migos.

22. Halsey - Hopeless Fountain Kingdom

This is her second album which released on June 2. It was supported by two singles: "Now Or Never" and "Bad At Love".

24. Jhené Aiko - Trip

This is her second album which released on September 22. It was released without prior announcement, supported by the lead single "While We're Young".

26. Katy Perry - Witness

This is her fifth album which released on June 9. It was supported by three singles: "Chained To The Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, "Bon Appetit" featuring Migos and "Swish Swish" featuring Nicki Minaj. She also went live 24/7 on YouTube for four days to promote the album.

28. Kelly Clarkson - Meaning Of Life

This is her eighth album which released on October 27. This is her debut album with Atlantic after completing her contract with RCA Records.

30. Kesha - Rainbow

This is her third album which released on August 11. It was supported by two singles: "Praying" and "Learn To Let Go".

32. Lana Del Rey - Lust For Life

This is fifth album which released on July 21. It was supported by the hit singles "Love" and "Lust For Life" featuring The Weeknd.

34. Logic - Everybody

This is his third, but first album to do so well. It was released on May 5 and was supported by three singles: "Everybody", "Black Spiderman" and his hit single "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid.

36. Macklemore - Gemini

This is his second solo album which released on September 22. The album was supported by three singles: "Glorious", "Marmalade" and "Good Old Days". This album is his first album without Ryan Lewis since his debut solo album 'The Language of My World' (2005).

38. Migos - Culture

This is their second album which released on January 27. It was supported by their three hit singles "Bad And Boujee" featuring Lil Uzi Vert, "T-Shirt" and "Slippery" featuring Gucci Mane.

40. Miley Cyrus - Younger Now

This is her sixth album which released on September 29. This album is my most favourite album of the year, because I'm a big Miley Cyrus fan. The album was supported by the singles "Malibu" and the title track "Younger Now". The album was written and produced by Miley Cyrus and Oren Yoel and features guest vocals from Dolly Parton.

42. N.E.R.D - No One Ever Really Dies

This is their fifth album which released on December 15. It's their first album together since 'Nothing' (2010). It was preceded by three singles: "Lemon" featuring Rihanna, "1000" featuring Future and "Don't Don't Do It!" featuring Kendrick Lamar.

44. Roy Woods - Say Less

This is his debut album which released on December 1. It features guest appearances from OVO labelmates PartyNextDoor and Dvsn, alongside 24hrs and PnB Rock. It was preceded by one single "What Are You On?".

46. Taylor Swift - Reputation

This is her sixth album which released on November 10. Featured artists on the album are Ed Sheeran and Future. It was supported by the singles "Look What You Made Me Do" and "Ready For It?".

48. Ty Dolla Sign - Beach House 3

This is his second album which released on October 27.

It was supported by three singles: "Love U Better" featuring Lil Wayne and The-Dream, "So Am I" featuring Damian Marley and Skrillex and "Ex" featuring YG.

50. Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory

This is his second album which released on June 23. It was supported by three singles: "Bagbak", "Big Fish" and "Rain Come Down".
